Daily Living & Life Skills

Practical skills for everyday life: meal preparation, household routines, communication, transport, planning and budgeting, built by working alongside you, not doing it for you.

Skills that stick, built by doing.

Our life skills supports focus on helping you develop practical skills you can use in everyday life.

Depending on your goals, this may include learning how to prepare meals, manage household routines, improve organisation, develop communication skills, use public transport, plan activities, complete shopping tasks or build confidence within the community.

Rather than simply doing everything for you, we aim to work alongside you to develop skills and confidence over time.

Questions about this service

It is usually built around specific goals. Some skills take a few weeks, others a few months. We review progress with you and wind support back as you go.

Goals get adjusted. That is normal. We look at what got in the way and change the approach rather than the person.

Yes, and it often does. Daily personal activities keep the week running while life skills support builds the parts you want to take on yourself.

You do. We help shape them so they are specific and achievable, and we write them down so progress is visible.
