A home that feels like your home.

Our Supported Independent Living services are designed to assist eligible participants who require regular support to live as independently as possible.

Support is tailored around your individual needs, goals and funded supports, and may include assistance with daily routines, personal care, household activities, meal preparation, developing independent living skills and participating in the community.

We recognise that your home should feel like your home. Our approach focuses on dignity, choice, safety, independence and creating a supportive living environment where you are respected as an individual.

What it looks like

A typical evening in supported living

4:30 PM

Home from the day

Support is on hand, the kitchen gets going and everyone settles back in.

6:00 PM

Dinner together

Cooked with support where needed, eaten as a household.

7:30 PM

Own time

TV, hobbies, a call home. Support is around but the evening is yours.

10:00 PM

Overnight

Sleepover or active night support, so there is always someone there.

Illustrative only. Every schedule is built from scratch with you.

Getting started

Three conversations, then we begin

1

A phone call

Tell us what you need. We will be honest about whether we are the right fit. Usually fifteen minutes.

2

A meeting at home

We come to you, meet the people who matter, and understand how your household actually works.

3

Your plan, then your first shift

We write it up, you approve it, and we introduce your support worker before they start.

Questions about this service

SIL is funded in your NDIS plan based on an assessment of the support you need to live in your home. It is separate from the cost of the house itself (rent and bills).

No. Shared living suits many people and keeps support sustainable, but individual arrangements are possible. We talk it through with you.

Carefully, and with your input. Compatibility, routines and support needs all matter. A trial stay is usually part of it.

We work on it first. Most issues are about routines and communication. If a move is the right call, we help plan it properly.

Where possible we keep continuity, though SIL rosters are set at the house level. We introduce the team before you move in.
