Connection is a support need, not an extra.

Being connected to the community can play an important role in building confidence, independence and overall wellbeing.

We support you to access and participate in activities that are meaningful to you. This may include attending appointments, shopping, recreational activities, community events, social outings, visiting family and friends or exploring new interests.

You remain at the centre of deciding what you would like to do and what goals you would like to work towards.

Getting started

Three conversations, then we begin

1

A phone call

Tell us what you need. We will be honest about whether we are the right fit. Usually fifteen minutes.

2

A meeting at home

We come to you, meet the people who matter, and understand how your household actually works.

3

Your plan, then your first shift

We write it up, you approve it, and we introduce your support worker before they start.

Questions about this service

Always. Support is built around what you already like or want to try, not a fixed program. If something is not working, we change it.

Support work time is funded through your plan. Entry fees, tickets and other activity costs are handled differently. We will explain what applies before you commit.

Yes. Community participation often works best alongside the people already in your life.

That is a good goal and we support it. We work alongside you to build confidence rather than doing everything for you.
